We have come together to give thanks for [name of child]. We seek God's blessing on this precious child, and ask Him to help us all find peace and comfort today, and all days.
Each new life is a miracle, and the time we share it is sacred - no matter how brief the moment, or how fragile. The number of our days does not equal the value of our lives or the depth of our love. We are a treasure greater than gold to our God who loves us completely, and who set us apart from all his creations by our ability to love one another as he loves us.
We are transformed when we surrender our hearts to love. Our lives are never the same again. And the love of a family for a new child is especially tender because it is filled with thoughts of the future and of days to come.
Yet even when our joy is turned aside by sadness, our love is not diminished. It is eternal and remains forever, its warmth untouched by time or tears. Our hearts remember, and we are parents and family for all time.
We give God thanks for the gift of this perfect soul. We ask His blessing on [name of child] and ask that He hold us in His hands today, and for all the days to come.
We ask these things in the name of Him who is the reason for all hope.
